Weddings at Trout Lake are always special, but Emily Anne and Nick’s wedding was certainly one to remember! From the gorgeous flowers, to the top shelf whiskey bar, these two had every detail planned out perfectly!
Emily Anne, a middle school teacher, and Nick, a New Jersey Police Officer, met ten years ago and have been traveling the world together ever since. Both share a passion for food and the outdoors, and they chose Trout Lake to host their wedding because it reminded them of their summer trips to the coast of Maine. As a matter of fact, Nick proposed to Emily Anne in Camden, Maine at the top of a gorgeous mountain overlook!
The couple chose to get married on a Friday, and also hosted their rehearsal dinner in the Boathouse on the night before the wedding. When asked, the couple had a hard time choosing their favorite moment from their wedding, but both agreed the first look, first dance, and grandfather/bride dance were their favorite parts! Both the Bride and Groom said they felt so much love and happiness on the day of their wedding that they may have to host a similar event every five years!!!
We asked the couple what advice they would give to future brides and their response was “Don’t worry about the little things…that’s how you ruin life and steal the specialness. It’ll all work itself out.”
