This fall was full of rainy weather, gorgeous leaves, and plenty of weddings. Sam and Corey’s wedding was held in early October on an overcast, slightly rainy Saturday. The couple and their families made the most of the weather, and in true Trout Lake fashion, the rain cooperated long enough for guests to enjoy an outdoor ceremony!
Originally from Bethlehem, Sam and Corey chose to host their wedding at Trout Lake because they were looking for an outdoor venue with mountains and an incredible view. Corey, a project manager, and Samantha, a school teacher, spent eight years together (and 14 years knowing each other) before Corey popped the question on an early morning walk in Jacksonville, Florida. Their passion for the outdoors, hiking and adventure, led them to Trout Lake, and we couldn’t be happier with their decision!
When asked, the couple agreed that they were unable to pick a favorite wedding moment because the day just kept getting better as it went on! Their advice to future couples is “to stay calm and enjoy each other”. Both agreed that it was the most emotional, humbling and breathtaking day of their lives.
